Educate Gabon's Mission: To provide pre-university scholarships for gifted Gabonese students.

Our Why: To increase access to education for Gabonese youth

Why do we provide scholarships?

Because we believe children deserve access to education.

1. In Gabon, preschools through high schools often require annual tuition. However, many families struggle to pay tuition fees. If the families cannot afford the annual tuition, then the student cannot go to school - regardless of academic ability or desire to go to school.

2. If students maintain a 12/20 grade point average throughout school, the Gabonese government will pay for them to go to university once they graduate high school. However, if they cannot afford to complete their schooling, they will never get this opportunity.

3. By providing pre-university scholarships to Gabonese students, we are ensuring these students can afford to go to, stay in, and complete school so that they are able to continue to university once they graduate.

We believe children deserve access to education

So, we make sure they get to go to school.

Named after Patricia's late grandmother, the Madeleine Okomo-Allogo Memorial Scholarship pays for a student's annual tuition at a local school in Libreville, Gabon. Grandmother Madeleine always prayed that her children and grandchildren would be successful. Patricia believes that helping kids stay and be successful in school is a way to fulfill her grandmother's prayers.
